Tulsi Gabbard, serving as Director of National Intelligence, has issued a criminal referral to the Department of Justice detailing what she describes as a treasonous conspiracy orchestrated by Obama-era officials.
According to Gabbard, multiple whistleblowers from the intelligence community have stepped forward, providing damning evidence of misconduct at the highest levels of government.
These whistleblowers allege that senior officials within the Obama administration manipulated or fabricated intelligence to justify unlawful surveillance of Donald Trump and his associates during and after the 2016 election.
Gabbard stated unequivocally that the purpose of this conspiracy was to undermine and delegitimize Trump’s presidency before it began.
Her referral to the DOJ includes more than 100 pages of declassified documents, internal memos, and whistleblower testimony detailing a coordinated effort to target Trump.
In her statement, Gabbard said, “The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016 committed by officials at the highest level of our government. Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people.”
The evidence points to a widespread scheme involving senior officials from the FBI, CIA, and NSA, who allegedly conspired to build a false narrative linking Trump to Russia.
Gabbard asserts that these agencies worked hand-in-hand with the media, feeding them misleading information under the guise of anonymous intelligence sources.
She highlights a December 2016 meeting attended by top intelligence officials, where internal disagreements about Russia’s capabilities were ignored in favor of a prearranged narrative.
Despite internal dissent, public statements were crafted to suggest absolute certainty that Russia had interfered in the election to help Trump.
According to the documents, this was a calculated decision to plant seeds of doubt about the legitimacy of Trump’s victory.
Gabbard argues this represents a blatant abuse of power and a betrayal of the public trust.
She has called on Congress to launch immediate public hearings to expose the full scope of the corruption.
The documents indicate that members of the media were invited to secret briefings where they were spoon-fed selective intelligence.
These media briefings were not for the purpose of national security but were political in nature, designed to control the public narrative.
