Epstein’s Ex-Attorney Reveals Names of Two High-Profile Democrats in the Epstein Files

Hot on the heels of declaring that there is no “Epstein list,” former Epstein attorney Alan Dershowitz revealed the names of two high-profile Democrats who are named in the Epstein files that the DOJ under AG Pam Bondi is now trying to have unsealed by the court so that they can be released in the name of transparency.

As background, Dershowitz is a longtime trial attorney and former Harvard Law School professor. He gained notoriety and infamy when he represented the notorious and noxious pedophile and alleged human trafficker Jeffrey Epstein in his 2008 criminal case, during which he ended up getting a slap on the wrist.

In any case, he spoke to Fox News Channel host Shannon Bream on her “Fox News Sunday” show to claim that while there is not an “Epstein client list” in the way that many on the populist side of politics argue needs to be released, there are a litany of individuals named in Epstein-related court files. Particularly, he noted that two high-profile Democrats are named in the 2019 grand jury files that AG Pam Bondi is ostensibly working to release.

Such came when Bream broached the subject, asking if there are names of specific individuals in the grand jury transcripts that the DOJ is arguing in court need to be released so that there is public transparency regarding the Epstein case. She asked, “Are [the names] in the grand jury transcripts, and do you think a judge releases that?”

Responding, Dershowitz explained that while the grand jury files need to be released, the names of the individuals allegedly involved in Epstein’s crimes are recorded in sealed records that federal judges have kept from seeing the light of day in public. He said, “I think the judge should release it, but they’re not in the grand jury transcripts. There are sealed records by two or three federal judges in the New York courts. I’ve seen some of these materials.”

Continuing, he gave an example of the sort of files that are kept covered up and have names in them, though those names have largely been redacted. He said, “For example, there is an FBI report of interviews with alleged victims in which at least one of the victims names very important people, and the names have been redacted. I know some of the names from my investigation.”

Giving some examples, Dershowitz then noted that both the former Prime Minister of Israel and two high-profile Democrats are named in those files, explaining, “George Mitchell, the former senator [from Maine]; Bill Richardson, the former ambassador to the UN; [former Israeli Prime Minister] Ehud Barak. … were all accused.”

Immediately trying to downplay the importance of those individuals being named, along with the others who might be in the files, Dershowitz noted that there have been false accusations, saying, “Now, whether any of these people actually did anything wrong, we don’t know, because we know there have been many, many false accusations.”

Trump, for his part, has gotten involved in demanding the information be released, saying, in a post on Truth Social, “I have asked the Justice Department to release all Grand Jury testimony with respect to Jeffrey Epstein, subject only to Court Approval. With that being said, and even if the Court gave its full and unwavering approval, nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request. It will always be more, more, more. MAGA!”
